The efficiency of swimming!

Last year I managed to lose 30 ibs just by something as simple as swimming. During two months, 60 days, I went swimming 2 to 3 times a week. I didn’t even change my diet, and still managed to lose 30 ibs in only 60 days, and for me that is just a miracle.
The funny thing is that I didn’t start swimming again, I’d not been swimming for 3 years at that time, because I was trying to lose weight. No I was merely trying to get the feel for the water again, to start enjoying being in the water so that I could complete a course in offshore safety, which I need to start working on oil installations in the north sea. The big bonus was that I not only lost a lot of fat, but I also toned and build muscles a long the way.
I really have to recommend swimming as a perfect and really effective way of losing those much needed pounds, that I know, you really hate. Start swimming 2 times a week for the first 3-4 weeks before going up to 3 times a week for the remaining weeks. Remember that you can keep swimming for as long as you wish, because it only does good for your body and soul.
When you are swimming you’re using almost all
your muscles, so that you are building more strength at the same time as your doing a lot of cardio workout. This forces the body to burn fat! I’ve also noticed that my muscles doesn’t get as sore when swimming as when I lift weights in the gym, and that is also good.
I myself only use the breast stroke for the time being, but that is because I can’t do the butterfly or crawl at this time. Eventually I’ll have to learn this types of swimming as well, since they give more speed and builds even more strength.
So remember to start small and build the strength along the way, as you can only get better at swimming. Do as many laps as you feel comfortable with and you’ll do more with time. Good Luck!

Why Does Chocolate Have To Be So Dam Good?

I think I’ve always known, but I recently had to admit that my “sugar hunger” is my worst enemy in life.
It not only makes my stomach grow bigger and bigger, but also controls my mode. I don’t like this, as a matter of fact, I hate it to be honest. So why does chocolate and ice cream have to taste so wonderful? I think I can only describe the sugar addiction as having the same hunger for sugar as a drug addict has for drugs. Can we agree on this, that it can be compared?
Realizing that I’ve got a problem has made me think about some important things:
How to fix this problem?
Is there some way to end this hunger?
So where do I start?
First of all, the first thing I had to do was get ride of all the sugar and candy in the house, all the god stuff. It harder to quit something as long as there is temptation right in front off your face. I think we all can agree upon that?
After getting all the “good stuff” out of the house I had to
rearrange my eating habits, which again men to reduce my intake of carbohydrates. Because I knew that they contain sugar and also, from past experience, knew that my urge for sugar would along with reducing the intake of carbs. I can only say this out from my own experience, and I can’t guaranty that this will work for you as well, even though I’m fairly sure that it will.
I’m not going to call my self or even claim to be an expert at this area by this time! My goal is to become fairly knowledgeable in this field in the near future. I’ll continue my research and read more about the subject of weight loss and fitness. I have some knowledge about the field after having been doing fitness and sport for the last 15 years, along with being an educated chef.
But after following these small steps, getting ride of all the sweet stuff and reducing my intake of carbohydrates, I’m on a good way of losing my sugar kick for good! I know that when this kick is gone it’s going to be a lot easier to lose weight and finally get that body I’ve been dreaming off for years.
I’d also be very happy for comments and ideas on this subject, as it will help us all get a better life and greater body.

Can Food Help You Lose Weight?

Foods with negative calories might be perfect for weight loss. Now, of course, all food contains calories — so what exactly are negative calorie foods? The Diet I Found Useful!!!

From my own experience the diet that has work best for me, is using elements of the Atkins diet. You follow it for 2 weeks, so you give the body a shock that helps speed up the fat losing process. This means that for 2 weeks you can only eat meat, fish and fat, in other words you can’t eat any carbohydrates at all.
You must remember that food like sugar and flour are full of harmful, in my opinion, carbs that’s just waiting you make you fat. The god news is that, I my self felt that, any urge for sugar went away almost the same day as I started the diet.
You must also remember to eat every third hour during the day, and you should do some exercise. I would recommend that you, within 20 minutes after you wake up in the morning, go for a walk before having breakfast. This helps speed up the fat burning process since it works best right after you wake up in the morning.
Wait at least 2 hours ,after you eat, before exercising or playing sports. This again helps, the body, burn fat more efficient.
The downside with this diet is that after a few days, when the body has adapted to this diet, you will start feel a bit nausea, but this is normal, so don’t worry. It’s just the body helping you lose some fat.
Personally I ate a lot of omelets and steaks. You should eat healthy fats like olive oil and cheese, it’s no point filling up the body with even more cholesterol! I also recommend seasoning the food with vinegar and spices like chili. Another god Idea is to drink a couple cups of Green tea during the day, Since green tea helps drain the body for fat, unhealthy minerals and drugs. Hey, it even gives you more energy!
I lost several pounds and inches around the wast during these 2 weeks leaving my in a frenzy of good confidence and mood. Life had meaning again and the days only looked bright!
Remember that the most important and toughest process begins after these weeks, the period where you continue to lose fat and making sure it doesn’t come back! Just remember to keep eating a balanced meal every third hour and keep being active during your new life.
